Welcome to New Hope Vets. We are a dedicated team of experienced veterinarians with over 26 years’ experience between us.
As the veterinary industry has become overwhelmingly corporate in recent years, we want to offer something with more of a personal touch that has more of a family feel about it. Independent practices generally have lower staff turnover which means you get to see the same vet or vet nurse most of the time. It also means we get to know you and your pets personally which is important to us, as we believe in building meaningful relationships with people and their pets.
We have created a warm, friendly environment and look forward to welcoming you into the New Hope Vet family soon.

Here is what Maria has to say about herself ⬇🐾
'I grew up in Ohio in the USA and moved to the UK in 2000. I originally trained as a geneticist but swapped my microscope for a stethoscope in 2003 and never looked back. After 17 years in practice, I still enjoy my job (almost!) every day. The best part of being a vet is getting to know my clients and seeing the love they have for their pets. I have a special interest in cats and I completed my post graduate certificate in feline practice in 2019. Outside of work, I can usually be found on the beach with my two silly spaniels or swimming in the sea, no matter what the weather'.
